Safe in the snow: avalanche course for employees

On Saturday, November 30, an avalanche course was held for our employees on the Elsigenalp. Even though there was only a little snow, the glorious weather provided ideal conditions for an instructive and practical day. As experts in this field, our aim is not only to act safely, but also to be a role model for others.

The morning began with targeted exercises in three groups, covering topics such as avalanche beacon search, probing and efficient rescue of buried victims. This was followed in the afternoon by realistic group scenarios in which rescues after a simulated avalanche with several buried victims were practiced.

A cozy lunch at Hari’s provided for the physical well-being, before the day was brought to a convivial close with a fine fondue in the Frutigen ski club hut.

This course not only strengthened the skills and awareness of our employees, but also promoted team spirit and the responsibility we bear in our work.
